I have a friend whom at one glance, and even for a week of being with her, you would really think that she is unbreakable; that no matter what circumstances, she will never be easily broken because she has such a very strong personality. But then I believed that no matter how strong a person is, there will always be one thing that will let them fall down to their knees; and I prove my belief right when she approached me and told me of the burdens she has in her heart. She felt as if everything is taken away from her, which started from her family- of her mother being sick with a very serious malady, which is cancer; then her health, friends, finances; her career, and even the one whom she leans on, turns back to her- her fiance.Of all the things she has shared to me, one thing has remained in my thought, and that is her words when she said “I want to take it all one day at a time.”
One day at a time. Such a great reminder for each of us, especially that we now live in a world where everything is in a hurry; in a world where prophetic directions and the power of prophecy has been taken for granted; ignored by many; when in fact, it helped the lives of many from the very beginning of the world. A reminder for us to take a closer look of everything that happens to us in each day, making each moment count; taking the time to rest and work, balancing everything.
